Wow oh wow! Throwbacks are so in at this time of age. I suppose it was just a matter of time that some medium adapts to the craze.

SM Cinemas will be having a "Throwback Movies at IMAX" theme come October. This will be a perfect time to experience those films that graced the IMAX format.

What's amazing is that they will be friendly priced, considering that some regular/2D screenings now go at p200-p250 a pop.

Check out the poster/teaser for some of the titles that will be included in their re-runs.
I'm seeing a lot of potential titles here, most especially on The Dark Knight Rises, as I have all the intentions of seeing this on IMAX before but a lot of turning events got in the way. I'm excited on finally seeing this as well those other good franchises.

Note that this isn't the first time that SM Cinemas has brought old titles on the the cinema screens for re-runs, they've been doing this regularly and I find it a nice gesture on their part. Some of them even go for as low as p50 on regular screens. Hats off to to those guys.

I'm sure that they'll keep on doing this and will include more of the fan favorite titles.

Be sure to keep the lookout on their website, www.smcinema.com, for the movie schedule soon!
