Over the weekend, local fans of the worldwide hit graphic novel and TV show, The Walking dead, lined up at Fully Booked (BGC on Saturday and ATC on Sunday) to have a meet and greet with the series artist, Charlie Adlard.

Saturday's event was greeted with a Q&A portion first and was then followed with the much awaited book signing.

It is pretty obvious that Charlie's a very generous guy and is very grateful to the fans. With over a little 100 fans on the first day itself, he happily signed all the books and did quick sketches for the attendees as well.

Friends said that the signing took about 5 hours or so and all fans went home with smiles on their faces plus a handful of signed books and quick sketches.

I was not able to attend on the first day due to scheduled activities but I managed to make it on the second day at the Alabang Town Center branch.

Signing is scheduled to start around 2PM. To get an early head start with the registration, I decided to go early and arrived at around 11AM. Surprisingly, I was #31 on the registration list. I guess the first 30 were already lined up hours before the store opening.

Hello Mr. Adlard.
I've read somewhere that Michonne is one of Charlie's favorite character to draw the as  there were a lot of fans getting her for their quick sketches. Carl with his hat's a favorite too among the attendees.

I almost decided to ask for a Carl sketch too but at the moment in which he asked me what I wanted for a sketch, The Governor just came straight out of me.

Well, since most of us there at the signing got a Michonne, Carl or a Zombie, I guess I really wanted to have a different one for my Adlard sketch. Heh.

The Governor!
It's been such a great pleasure of having Charlie Adlard here in Manila. Thank you so much to Fully Booked for making these visits possible.

Keep an eye out on their Facebook page to see more updates from them.
