To coincide with our favorite caped crusader's 75th year, Warner Brothers' Philippines and Magnavision Home Video is topping up their game locally that will surely make any Batman fan excited.
First off, in partnership with Maxicollector, Magnavison is having a promo for the fans and movie geeks out there and it's a HUGE one!
For every purchase of any Batman titles on DVD and Blu-ray, customers are entitled to join in on the raffle for a chance to win a Hot Toys 1/6th scale collectible figure of Jack Nicholson's Mime suited Joker and a Life-size bust of the Dark Knight himself.
Entries for the Joker figure can be sent in from July 23 to Septermber 30; and October 1 to December 31 for the Batman bust. Check out the mechanics:
So you're a huge Bat-fan and you already own most, if not all, of the Batman titles available? Fret not as Magnavision has just released 3 new animated titles for us to linger on:
- Son of Batman
- Justice League Flashpoint Paradox
- Batman: Assault on Arkham
I'm glad that the first two finally made it to our shores, they have been released internationally many months before and these will be perfect for my DCAU DVD collection.
I'll be back for those as I only had funds for a single purchase at the time and I picked out Assault on Arkham. Why? Because I couldn't believe it when I saw physical copies in our stores! This is set to be screened at San Diego Comic Con on July 25, digital copies will be released on July 25 and DVDs/Blus on August 12.
We are the first to have the title available for first viewing and I would not dare miss out on that chance!

So, there you have it! Those high end collectibles will surely look good once displayed so head on out and buy original copies of the many Batman titles available.
The new ones are priced at just p550 each, while the older titles are currently on sale and ranges from p100 to p375 each.
