Filbar's hosted a special fan screening of the much awaited movie, Star Wars: The Force Awakens at Promenade, Greenhills. The Promenade Hall was filled with fans to partake in special activities, photo ops, collectible exhibits and more!
The doors to the exhibit hall was scheduled to be opened at 2PM but seat reservations for the movie screenings started as early as 11AM. As expected though, a lot of fans were already at the area even before the mall itself opens. Real dedication and effort from these guys that graced the heavy rainfalls early in the morning!

I got pretty good seats for myself and the gang, too! Our movie was scheduled at 5PM so there's still plenty of time to see what's-what inside the hall and to take a couple of photos later on.

Ticket holders also got a couple of treats from Filbar's. There'a a preview copy of the Star Wars comic book, a Trooper standee, a Star Wars designed cardboard/fan and bunch of vouchers from their sponsors/partners. Everyone enjoyed the free large drink from Happy Lemmon and the discounted meals from Peri Peri. Pretty good deal!

COMIC BOOK SIGNING
Star Wars and Marvel Comics artist, Leinil Yu, was also there to sign copies of the Darth Vader annual book. Brought a copy with me to maximize the opportunity!
PHOTO OPS
Cosplayers were of course present in the event for photo ops! They were also kind enough to let others borrow their lightsabers to play with.

THE GALLERY AND EXHIBITS
Toys, framed posters, statues, dioramas and other collectibles were neatly displayed inside for everyone to appreciate.
Gotta give it to Filbar's. They know their stuff and have raised the bar high for these fan screenings. The overall experience of watching the movie itself, added with all the great stuff that their team brought for us, is a huge win for everyone who attended.
This has been the best movie experience I have had in a long while! Congratulations, Filbar's, for leaving a great mark. I really hope that you host more of these screenings in the future!
