In a couple of days, it'll be the Manila International Book Fair (MIBF) again, now on its 34th!

That's right, book lovers of all ages will gather once again to celebrate the biggest and longest running book fair in the Philippines.

I always see to it that I attend this annual event even in just a day or so in its 5 day run. Be very prepared, selections here vary in different collections -- novels, textbooks, references, art related, magazines, graphic novels and so on. It'll be wise to save up some funds as you might see unexpected titles here that will interest you.

Oh, if I remember correctly, entrance fee will cost you at just about p20, but if you are still over the fence on that, a lot of local teams provides free passes, Google them up and you'll have a lot of friendly results from bookstores, publishers etc.

The easiest for me though is that we can actually get one from our nearest Fully Booked branches:

You can also win one from NBS by retweeting “I want to win #MIBFpasses by @nbsalert.”:

Aside from the discounts, I expect to that there will be lot of activities at the fair like book signings, freebies, giveaways, raffles and promos just like before.

I've found a lot of good deals at the previous MIBFs and I'm confident that I'll bag a tons more this time around. I very much look forward to this year's MIBF!

Happy hunting, troops!

The fair will be on September 11-15 at the SMX Convention Center.

Visit the official MIBF page for more info: Manila International Book Fair and like them on Facebook
